Alpha Eagle Security is offering fire Watch service for any commercial, residential, hospital, School, Government Facility, Construction site, and retail space; we are here to serve and provide a solution for your security concerns; anywhere in California, the officers are responsible for monitor the whole property they assigned for, this is going to be for the purpose of protecting the occupants from fire or any other similar emergencies in the assigned building. According to the Code of Federal Regulations (OSHA), our Fire Watch officers are providing surveillance of the area where “hot work” such as cutting with torches, or welding, which is part of the construction works, they need to have a fire watch officer to monitor and make sure that no smoldering fires result from cutting or welding metal. In fact, these are a vital part of the industrial and construction maintenance safety programs. But we are here to provide you with the best safety, and fire watch officers’ responsibilities may include:
- Constantly patrolling areas where “hot work” is being performed, maintaining vigilance of potential fires.
- We are never leaving the job site while the work is being done.
- Being familiar with facilities and procedures for sounding an alarm in the event of a fire and having a means of notifying emergency services.
- Maintaining the conditions and requirements stated on the safety permit.
- Inspect the entire work area to look for a potential release of flammable vapors or liquids before, during, and at the end of each shift.
- Being prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors, and hose carts anytime.
- Having fire-extinguishing equipment readily available and being well-trained in its use.
